Captain Kent was a man in the RDF during the First Robotech War and was in charge of Armor-15.

When the Breetai lead an expendable strike force in an attack to drive out the SDF-1 again, Armor-15 and 20 engaged the enemy but were unfamiliar wiith the capabilities of the Zentraedi. Captain Hayes contacted Captain Kent who told her he was busy, but when she informs himn he's outmatched and should take evasive action, he brushed her off thinking he could handle them. then the Zentraedi attacks destroyed Armor-15, taking many lives with it.
