Torn was a Karbarran ship commander of the Rrgryg. He and his ship had been stuck in Orbit around Haydon IV since the Invid took over, and after the Liberation of Haydon IV, he and his crew assisted the Sentinels as they left the planet aboard the Ark Angel. However his carrier was outmatched against the Black Death Destroyers and they were all wiped out.
