The Xalon Process was a rejuvenation technique created by Gilles Vaudell‏‎ to reverse aging and heal the body.

In December of 2031 Gilles made the Shock Diver Atmosphere Drop Suits and in a test went 3000 KM past the Earth Atmosphere but ran out of power and drifted in space for 2 days. Upon being found dehydrated and his suit running on Solar Power, he went on about a vision of how to reach Immortality through the Xalon Process. In 2032 Gilles used the Xalon Process of Organ cloning and rejuvenation to heal his lung cancer and de age him from 56 to 25. In 2033 the Invid arrived and the IHE was protected with its Reflex Shield now powered by Antimatter. Also Gilles made a clone of himself to be a living computer called the Mordecai Mind and he established checks and balances based on merit for determining who would be given the Xalon Process. In 2046 Annie LaBelle encountered Demont Vaudell‏‎ who was accused by the Mordecai Mind of hiding the condition known as Flesh Breakdown which prevented the Xalon Process from affecting the user. The accusations were false as the Mind had an attraction to her and she had refused him and had created a defective clone of her called Vaudell-Sync who made another clone called a Spleen as her own body bank. Annie interfered with Gilles trying to get back Demont and was captured but almost died from protoculture contamination she had when young caught up to her. She was saved from a heart tumor by the Xalon Process but won't age for 20 years
